Avoid Collisions
Although precision-engineered, your watch should be protected from sharp impacts and drops. Remove it during sports or heavy labor to prevent movement damage or case scratches.
Waterproofing Warning
Even if a watch is labeled as water-resistant, avoid wearing it in hot baths, saunas, or during deep-water activities. Sudden temperature changes and steam can compromise its water resistance. We recommend having the water resistance checked annually.
Keep away from magnetic fields
Strong magnetic fields can affect a watch's timekeeping accuracy. Avoid placing your watch near strong magnetic sources such as speakers, refrigerator doors, or mobile phones. If you notice inaccurate timekeeping, have the watch demagnetized.
Temperature Control
Extreme temperatures can affect watch performance. Avoid prolonged exposure to temperatures above 60°C or below 0°C. Sudden temperature changes may cause condensation on the crystal or degrade the gaskets.
Regular Maintenance
Mechanical watches should undergo a full service, including movement cleaning, lubrication, and regulation, every 3–5 years. Replace the battery in quartz watches promptly when it runs out to prevent leakage damage to the movement.
